TikTok, the Internet of Things (IoT), drones, AI, and other innovations of the past two decades would likely not have
entered our minds if we could time travel back twenty years.
That's insanely convenient to have right then.
The term "Digital Revolution" is commonly used to describe the transition from analogue to digital technology in the history of the world's most influential industries. This period began in the 1980s and continues to the present day. The dawn of the Information Era
coincides with the digital revolution.
In March of 2023, our publication will begin producing issues centred on the intersection of the digital revolution and sustainable development. Learn how digitals and tech tools may improve sustainability across industries. Electronic commerce (e-commerce), which incorporates the use of technology in the banking business, has been studied by Fang Zimu (pages 31–36), who focuses on the effect of cultural elements on consumer behaviour. Meanwhile, Zhan Qishun (pages 77–81) provides a conceptual viewpoint on
the Internet of Things (IoT) in the context of e-government, in which the public sector has increasingly relied on technology and digitalization to better serve its constituents.
To further enhance your knowledge, we invite you to peruse our journals and remark on the other articles as well. Keep an eye out for the next issue in a month's time.
